Super Critical cannabis seeds from Green House Seeds are a hefty Indica marijuana strain based on Big Bud x Skunk x White Widow, making this genotype one of the most exotic in the Indica section: rich coloring and a pine aroma with hints of mango and citrus. Where does this opulence come from? Skunk and Big Bud imparted a record-breaking concentration of resins and essential oils to Super Critical, while White Widow sweetened the resulting aromatic bouquet. The main terpenes in the terpene profile are pinene, myrcene and limonene.
Super Critical traces its roots back to landraces of India, Afghanistan, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil. Rumor has it that Super Critical was bred specifically for outdoor cultivation, but thanks to having a significant part of highland genetics, this exceptionally strain, easy-to-grow and productive, has performed exceptionally well indoors. At the same time, its exotic appearance and rich aroma have earned the Super Critical variety comparisons with such pearls of selection as White Rhino, Gagarin, Blue Cheese.
Super Critical cannabis strain
Super Critical marijuana seeds were grown from robust plants that could easily be mistaken for Afghani Indica! Indoors, the plants rarely exceeded 100-125 cm, but outdoors or in greenhouses, they could reach 150-180 cm. Therefore, for a full-sized plant, 15-30 liter containers were provided. Indoors, the plants were almost always trained using the ScroG method, which produced the best results: the cannabis developed extensive branches, and the flowering centers were evenly distributed throughout the plant (not just at the crown).
Other training methods were also tested on Super Critical, including SoG and supercropping. For full development, such a “concentrated” strain naturally required more light energy than a pure indica of this size. The breeders carefully controlled the pH throughout the entire cycle. During flowering, the humidity in the greenhouse was reduced to 50-60%. The planting demonstrated resistance to mold, fungi, and insect pests. Outdoors, ripened by the end of September.
