Moby Dick cannabis seeds by Green House Seed are a hybrid marijuana strain (60% indica) with a whitish coloration, a Haze x White Widow cross. Thus, its genealogy includes landraces of South India, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. What guided the breeders when selecting the parents? In their words: to reduce flowering and compact the buds of Haze, as well as to give the “frosty” buds of White Widow a new character. The result is an exotic hybrid with high yields!
Thanks to the extensive gene pool of its parental lines, Moby Dick cannabis demonstrated record-breaking adaptability to various climates and environments, as well as high resin production and impressive flower density. Moby Dick’s terpene profile is mainly myrcene, pinene, limonene, creating a woody aroma with hints of citrus and mango. This genotype has won first place at the Copa Cannamex, Summer Cup Canarias, THC Valencia, Copa del Plata, and Bitox Cup.
Moby Dick marijuana strain
Indoors, Moby Dick mother plants grew to 100-130 cm, while outdoors they could reach 165-200 cm (sometimes up to 230 cm). Indica influence: internodes were slightly shorter, stems denser compared Haze, its parent. Moby Dick responded well to ScroG training: it branched heavily and eventually became completely overgrown with flowers. SoG allowed to eventually obtain a dense carpet of flowers with minimum height.
Vigorous lateral branches and robustness made Moby Dick a promising outdoor strain, rarely suffering from mold or pests. Indoors, flowering took 9 weeks, while outdoors, plants matured in late September/early October. With optimal lighting and balanced nutrition, even untrained plants could reach the size of a beer bottle with a central apex! Final weight reached 600-800 g/m² indoors or up to 650 g per plant outdoors.
