Auto Montreal cannabis seeds from Divine Seeds are a hybrid marijuana strain with an aroma of tropical fruit, anise, and clove created by the dominant terpenes of myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene. Auto Montreal is genetically based on landrace cannabis from Afghanistan, Africa, India. The beautiful name doesn’t necessarily mean the strain was developed in Quebec’s largest city — Montreal is simply known for its large number of medical cannabis dispensaries.
According to breeders Divine Seeds, this strain is intended as “a pungent, exotic hybrid in the style of Skunk, but of a totally different genetic background.” Auto Montreal is increasingly appreciated by experts and enthusiasts due to its outstanding performance and aesthetic appeal: there have been a lot of good reviews. This autoflowering strain, with its high concentration of essential oils and resins, is considered a medical cannabis strain in its native Canada. Auto Montreal seeds are dense, oval, and sometimes feature tiger stripes.

Auto Montreal cannabis seeds were obtained from robust plants growing 80-120 cm tall indoors, reaching 120-160 cm outdoors or in a greenhouse. Although the genotype is Indica / Sativa almost equally, the dominance of oriental Indica was evident in the vegetative development of the mother plants: with sufficient root space, the plants quickly developed a branched form and readily expanded in width during training. The breeders avoided any replanting, placing the seeds directly into final 15-24 litre pots, using only light training (ScroG, sometimes LST). The looks of foliage (ribbed, tapered, elongated, and slightly pointed) revealed the influence of overseas Sativas which lend Auto Montreal strain its exotic charm.
As flowering began, the parent strains rapidly gained height, reaching their final height within two weeks, with citrus notes appearing in the aroma. Having inherited heat, cool, and drought tolerance from North American ruderalis and high-altitude Afghani varieties, Auto Montreal thrived in all conditions, including greenhouses and outdoor plantations in Canada and Europe. Its tropical and equatorial Sativa heritage gave Auto Montreal immunity to fungal infections and mold. As the flowers finished blooming and ripened, the aroma acquired piquant notes of pine and musk, while the fruity theme was enriched with a sweet mango undertone. This aroma then became increasingly pungent until harvest (early/mid-September).
