Auto Moon Rock cannabis seeds represent a hybrid cannabis strain (55% Indica) with a high concentration of resins and essential oils, a cross of Afghan and Nepalese landraces. Therefore, Auto Moon Rock combines a solid weight with an exotic appearance and a scent of cedar, grapefruit, and musk, created by the predominant terpenes pinene, limonene, myrcene. This hybrid has proven adaptable and well-suited to survival.
Afghan genetics allowed Auto Moon Rock to tolerate hot weather conditions, the tropical Nepalese Sativa heritage gave this strain immunity to mold and mildew, and Canadian Ruderalis added cold tolerance. According to independent experts, Auto Moon Rock resembles a Sativa phenotype of OG Kush. Many believe this genotype will win multiple Cannabis Cup awards—time will tell.
Auto Moon Rock marijuana strain
Auto Moon Rock seeds were collected from plants measuring 80-110 cm tall indoors, and up to 120-140 cm outdoors. Indoors, this cannabis plant responded perfectly to LST and ScroG training, developing a monumental central stem and a robust network of side shoots. To obtain a full-sized plant, one plant was potted in a 16-20 litre pot. The root system developed well in various soil and substrate types, and Auto Moon Rock also performed better in hydro and aeroponic setups than many other autoflowering strains.
As the plant entered flowering, its herbaceous, strawberry-tinged aroma became enriched with tropical undertones, and as the buds formed, a citrusy undertone emerged. The loose texture of the buds (in the style of tropical sativas) minimized the risk of gray mold. At peak maturity, the large tops, generously covered in a “snow” of trichomes, smelled richly of mango, orange, and ginger. Under favorable conditions, the weight reached 550-750 g/m2 excluding branches and leaves. It was ready for harvest in late August/early September.
