Shaman cannabis seeds are a three-way cross between Sorcerer x Pickle x Sapphire, so this strain has an extensive lineage. Its ancestors include Northern Lights, G13, White Rhino, Shiva, Blueberry, Colombian Gold, Skunk #1, and many others. Shaman marijuana strain can be traced back to landrace varieries of Afghanistan, Nepal, Mexico, India, Colombia, and Thailand. Its terpene profile is dominated by carene, linalool, and pinene — these terpenes create a berry-fruity aroma with a piquant cheesy undertone.
Shaman marijuana strain is a rarity little known to the public; even connoisseurs have commonly only heard of a namesake strain by Dutch Passion, which bears no relation to this genotype (identic names, completely different genetics and profile). The inclusion of Purple genetics from the Blackberry, Blueberry, and Granddaddy Purple lines, as well as the presence of White Widow and Ice in the pedigree makes Shaman a colorful variegated cannabis plant.
Shaman marijuana seeds were harvested from strong, healthy mother plants, which were often placed in small 0.5-liter containers during the seedling stage. As the growing season progressed, the plants were moved to increasingly larger containers, eventually consuming a full-sized plant in a 25-40 liter container. Indoors, the height was 75-150 cm, while outdoors or in a greenhouse, it reached 175-250 cm. SoG was often used, with up to 5-6 specimens per square meter, preventing them from gaining height. ScroG techniques were often used for planting. Shaman cannabis also quickly recovered from topping, FIM, supercropping, and other methods.
When the plants switched to flowering, the fruity aroma took on more berry-like undertones, the plant grew dramatically in height, and white hairs at the nodes revealed the sex of the plants (80-95% were female, as Shaman cannabis seeds are feminized). Pests rarely caused serious damage to the plantation, provided regular inspection and, if necessary, treatment — Dutch breeders handle marijuana with care. The genetic diversity of the lineage gave this strain resistance to mold and various climates. The presence of Kush genes, among other things, allowed Shaman to easily tolerate both heat and cool nights, which is unusual for 60% Sativa strains. Greenhouse plants ripened in mid-October / early November.
