Mazar cannabis seeds represent a classic indica strain with maximum yield potential. A cross of an authentic landrace from the Mazar-i-Sharif region with a Skunk #1 phenotype (Afghanistan, Colombia, Mexico). Mazar is notable for its record-breaking concentration of resins and essential oils. The terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, pinene, caryophyllene, creating an earthy aroma with hints of pine, wood, and musk.
Thanks to its iconic parent stock, this hybrid boasts absolute genetic stability, demonstrating 100% uniformity: all plants developed with an identical phenotype. Mazar also boasts high natural immunity, resistance to temperature fluctuations, drought, and pests. These characteristics have contributed to its multiple prizes (High Times Cannabis, Highlife Cup, and others).
Mazar seeds originate from healthy, robust plants reaching 120-135 cm in height indoors and 170-200 cm outdoors. Pots or textile airpots with a capacity of 20-30 liters were used. Best results were achieved in porous, breathable soil mixtures with a neutral pH. The variety demonstrated tolerance to high doses of organic and mineral fertilizers. Indoors, intense lighting (LED from 200 W) was required. Outdoors, Mazar demonstrated high heat tolerance. During the growing season, a strong central stem developed with thick and flexible lateral branches. Internodes were short, and fan-shaped leaves were wide and fleshy. The variety easily tolerated topping and topping due to rapid tissue regeneration during the growing season. It responded well to LST and ScroG training. Given sufficient space, the plant actively expanded.
When the photoperiod was switched to 12/12, the plant exhibited explosive stretching lasting 2-3 weeks. At the height of flowering, the plant transformed, forming monolithic, rock-hard colas. Due to the abundance of resin, the buds became sticky and whitish. By the end of the cycle, a thick glaze of large, milky trichomes coated not only the colas but also the sugary leaves. The large fan-shaped leaves paled and yellowed, releasing nitrogen to the tips, while the stigmas acquired a rich copper-orange color. The classic, sharp aroma of musk and damp earth repelled insects. When growing the plant indoors, high-performance carbon filters were required. Outdoors, ripening in mid/late October, breeders have recorded weights of up to 600-1000 g/m2.
