The description of Big Devil Auto marijuana seeds may confuse readers who are used to comparing facts. After all, it is not very tall – so how did the strain earn the word “big” in its name? Take a look at the photos, and you will literally feel the weight of these dense buds! To develop Big Devil Auto, a particularly massive variety of Skunk was used, as well as a hybrid with a predominance of indica – possibly Afghan – but this is only an assumption based on the powerful resin production and large size of the heavy tops.
The exact details of the strain’s genetic origin are not disclosed, as it was clear from the outset that Big Devil would be a huge success on the international competition scene. The 4:20 Seeds version is predominantly indica, which has shortened the maturation period and strengthened the overall architecture.
Depending on the care and cultivation environment, vegetation could also proceed somewhat faster than in most autoflowers – in coconut substrate, mother plants sometimes began flowering after only 22-25 days. The strong and robust Auto Big Devil bushes showed clear signs of Skunk genetics, as evidenced by their resistance to weather conditions, steady development, strong resistance to diseases and pests, and a noticeable pungent aroma – which was already present as they approached flowering. The leaves showed signs of partial sativa origin and were slightly narrow.
However, overall, the structure of the parent plants made a very good impression: branchy, with dense stems and shoots! With the onset of flowering, there was an explosive growth in vegetative mass (as always), then over the course of 3-4 weeks, the planting became rounder, covered with dense floral mass. In a time-lapse, it would look like the process of making cotton candy! In fact, in recent weeks, the ripening tops were abundantly covered with “sugar” crystals. Although the strain does not belong to the purple cannabis species, mature individuals managed to acquire a slightly reddish hue of flowers, and in combination with yellowing fan-shaped leaves, they looked very contrasting and bright.
