Psicodelicia cannabis seeds from Sweet Seeds represent a Sativa marijuana strain with a tropical aroma of papaya and citrus. The final weight is above average with an unusually short flowering period (for a sativa). Psicodelicia was created by crossing two landrace strains: USA x Nepalese, resulting in a genealogy that combines geographically distant cannabis lines. This strain has since become one of the parents of PsicoHashPlant strain.
Psicodelicia grows vigorously and is capable of protecting itself from diseases and pests thanks to its strong immune system. By tropical cannabis standards, it is a branched plant with large buds, and a dense layer of trichomes indicates a high content of secondary metabolites. The terpene profile is dominated by limonene, myrcene, and caryophyllene, adding a piquant coffee note to the aroma. Psicodelicia seeds are sought after by connoisseurs of rare cannabis with vibrant colors and aroma.
Psicodelicia cannabis seeds required precise control of the light cycle and a well-thought-out macronutrient strategy. Plants reached 100-120 cm in grow boxes and stretched up to 200-250 cm outdoors. To ensure full root development, the Sativa hybrid was planted in 18-22 liter containers. The soil used was a 70/30 mixture of coconut fiber and perlite, or a soil mix with added mycorrhizae to stimulate phosphorus absorption. Breeders maintained pH level at 6.0-6.3. Indoors, the strain exhibited significant stretching in the first two weeks after switching to a 12/12 cycle. High-blue spectrum (6000K) lamps were used during the vegetative stage to prevent excessive internodal elongation. During flowering, the light was changed to 3000K, which meant adding far red spectrum to accelerate ripening.
During the vegetative stage, in addition to classic ScroG and LST training, the strain responded perfectly to advanced mainlining and supercropping techniques. This allowed for the creation of a horizontal canopy and maximized final weight. Large, spiky buds formed during flowering. During this period, Psicodelicia demonstrated high resistance to botrytis thanks to the airy structure of its buds. The plant developed a glossy layer of trichomes. The aroma transformed from a subtle citrus to a complex blend of roasted coffee beans and spicy musk. Ripening after 56-63 days of blooming indoors or in late September outdoors.
