Gorilla Girl F1 Fast Version is a photoperiod cannabis strain, mostly a Gorilla Glue x Girl Scout Cookies cross. This easy-to-grow fast-flowering cannabis boasts a solid weight and high resin content. This is the result of many years of breeding work to create a premium, hefty cannabis with a rich terpene profile. The genotype is based on landraces from Afghanistan, Africa, Thailand, and Colombia, and such diversity is partly responsible for its durability and rich aroma. The flowering period was reduced by 1-2 weeks by adding Sweet Gelato Auto genetics, and multi-stage selection using modern methods made it a stable phenotype.
A compact, robust strain with excellent branching, dense buds covered in a thick layer of trichomes. It demonstrated resistance to mold, insects and adverse climatic conditions. The aroma of the flowers is rich, with predominant citrus, berry, and pine notes. The complex terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, caryophyllene, limonene. These seeds are large, elongated, and matte with distinctive stripes. Bred and grown under the sunny skies of Spain.
Gorilla Girl marijuana seeds germinated in 2-4 days and grew in soil and coco coir in 15-30 liter containers. Optimal indoor density for indoors was 2 plants/m2, 1 plant/m2 in outdoor plantations. This strain tolerated transplantation without damage, yielded impressively in hydroponic and aeroponics setups. During the vegetative stage, the plants developed a compact, well-branched structure. The stems were thick and strong. The foliage was broad and rich green, with internodes <7 cm. Heights reached 130 cm indoors and up to 250 cm outdoors. Growth was vigorous (an average of 5-7 cm per week).
During selection and seed production, the following training methods were used: LST, mainlining, topping, supercropping, defoliation, ScroG, and SoG. Leaf defoliation improved ventilation and exposure of the buds. The variety was ideal for regions with hot, dry, and sunny climates. Optimal temperature was 22-28°C. The bushes were resistant to drought, heat, precipitation and mold. Non-toxic antifungal agents were used for prevention. The flowering period was 49 days from the transition to 12/12. Buds formed large, dense, with numerous resin glands. Trichomes turned orange in the final stage. Stigmas were thick, reddish-orange. The calyx-to-leaf ratio was 70/30. Indoors, the weight reached 400-550 g/m2 without leaves, and outdoors, up to 600 g per plant. In the Southern Hemisphere, the ripening period occurred in May, in the Northern Hemisphere – in September.
