Jack Herer cannabis seeds from Green House are a hybrid sativa marijuana strain with a sharp tropical aroma of mango and citrus. Green House version of Jack Herer is a Haze and Red Skunk cross. Although this formula looks different from other variations of the genetic type, its origins are essentially the same: landraces from Afghanistan, Colombia, Mexico, and Hawaii. The dominant terpenes (terpinolene, pinene, caryophyllene) create a floral-fruity aroma with woody undertones. The strain is named after the renowned Dutch cannabis activist.
Despite its rapid flowering, Jack Herer is resinous and rich in trichomes, imparting a “snowy” white hue to the tops and sugary leaves. Untrained, the plant is slender, Haze-style, but with strong branches thanks to its 40% Afghani Indica genetics. It has won several Cannabis Cup awards, particularly from High Times. Today, Jack Herer is among the most respected cannabis hybrids, alongside AK-47, Skunk, and Amnesia Haze.
Jack Herer marijuana seeds come from plants 100-150 cm tall indoors; outdoors, it reaches 180-200 cm. Due to its extensive branching, 18-25 liter pots were used to ensure the root system did not limit the crown’s potential. The substrate was a peat-based mixture with 30% perlite. During the vegetative stage, the plant demonstrated a rapid metabolism, producing long, thin, emerald-colored leaves. Due to the Christmas tree structure and long internodes, training was critical starting in the third week of vegetative growth. ScroG or SoG were typically used, which helped form a flat canopy and limit vertical growth.
