Auto Opium cannabis seeds from Divine Seeds are an autoflowering Indica marijuana strain with an 80% level: its large structure is capable of reaching a final weight of up to 1000 g/m2, and its powerful aroma combines spicy and berry notes. Finally, this cannabis finished flowering in just 60-65 days. What is the secret? Breeders not only took exceptionally high-quality genetics as a basis, but also selected the most harmonious combination. Landraces from Brazil and Afghanistan were crossed, then subjected to multiple selection cycles (including phenotype selection) to accentuate the outstanding features of this cannabis and achieve stability and consistency.
When developing Auto Opium, special attention was paid to the total mass and concentration of resins, and future victories in competitions are ensured thanks to Auto Opium’s vitality and robust health. Breeders used a variety of tricks, for example, during selection, the plants were subjected to training and sometimes artificial stress. Cannabis was “accustomed” to different types of conditions, creating the genetic memory of Auto Opium – hence its rich potential, which has already been highly appreciated by experts and cannabis enthusiasts. Auto Opium’s rich aroma palette is due to its content of myrcene, caryophyllene, limonene, and pinene terpenes, which give it a scent of juniper and forest berries. The community liked the genotype so much that there are already pink, purple, and white versions!

Seed germination was successful in various substrates, including soil mixtures and coconut fiber. Seedlings were planted in holes (outdoors or in a greenhouse) or 18-20 liter pots. It demonstrated excellent results in various soilless systems: hydro, aero, substrate. The bushes formed a dense structure with an average height. Strong stems and branches were clearly designed to support the heavy weight of future inflorescences! The structure of the Auto Opium bush resembles OG Kush, but with a more open branch structure. Under normal growing conditions, more than 99.99% of the plants were female, as Auto Opium cannabis seeds are feminized.
Slightly stretching during the pre-bloom stage, the planting intensified its fruity aroma, with coniferous undertones appearing. The height in closed ground varied between 90-120 cm, and up to 150 cm outdoors. During 4-5 weeks of flowering, the bushes grew in volume, as if putting on a dense “fur coat of inflorescences.” The remaining 4 weeks of flowers were abundantly covered with resin, while the white hairs remained. An unfamiliar person could cough from the smell of a mature plant: it was very concentrated. Powdery mildew, aphids, spider mites, thrips, and hemp fleas did not risk getting involved. Outdoors, the variety ripened in late August – early September.

You can, but the plant will not grow as large because the light regime will change and the growing season will be shorter.
