By adding AK-47 XL, Divine obtained a combination of Nepalese, Colombian, Mexican, Afghan, and Thai genetics. Work on the strain followed a model built by artificial intelligence, which eliminated blind experiments and reduced the selection cycles to a few hundred calculated crosses, which gave an unbeatable result.

Description of the Auto John Weed strain
During development, seedlings were immediately planted in 20-25 liter containers, as autoflowering plants are not transplanted. Regardless of the type of substrate (organic soil mix, inert materials), it demonstrated stable growth and confident root system development. It performed particularly well in hydroponics and aeroponics, showing no stress under conditions of high growth rate and metabolism. Divine Seeds mainly used ScroG training to control the shape of the bush. This technique allowed them to increase the number of potentially massive points and improve light penetration to the lower parts of the crown. Outdoors, Auto John Weed bushes grew up to 185 cm tall, and indoors up to 135-150 cm.
At the start of flowering, the plants had a well-developed structure. During the first two weeks of inflorescence formation, vegetation continued, allowing the plant to reach its maximum potential. Visually, Auto John Weed looked impressive: slender bushes with sturdy stems and branches, large loose inflorescences with bright orange pistils and dense trichomes. The buds were a rich green color with hints of purple when the temperature dropped, and the thick resin crust made them especially attractive—not visible, but very pleasant to the smell and touch.
Overall, the plant’s appearance did not deviate from the classic image of sativa (thin leaves, rich color), but thanks to its AK-47 heritage, it was not overloaded with leaves. Auto John Weed adapted perfectly to different growing conditions. It developed successfully both indoors and outdoors, was resistant to temperature fluctuations, and demonstrated high immunity to diseases and pests. Thanks to its balanced genetics, the plant was not finicky and easily forgave minor mistakes. The average weight of the variety ranged from 350-450 g per plant, with outdoor ripening occurring by the end of August.

You can, but the plant will not grow as large because the light regime will change and the growing season will be shorter.
