It would take several years to visit all the continents and countries that contributed to the genetics of Auto Daiquiri Lime sativa cannabis seeds, including Afghanistan, Mexico, Colombia, Hawaii, and Thailand. This impressive strain was cultivated in Holland, following the best examples of local breeding traditions… but interestingly, all the parameters and parental genetics seem to be designed for connoisseurs of the American cannabis scene!
After all, this hybrid is a cross between the particularly fragrant California Orange phenotype (orange aroma and lush yield) and the rare Sour Diesel clone, also created in the USA, which is no less fragrant. Thus, in addition to landraces, Auto Daiquiri Lime’s pedigree includes names that have gone down in breeding history in golden letters: ChemDawg, several Skunk subspecies, and Northern Lights. This lemon-orange cocktail alone attracts the attention of gourmets and connoisseurs of rare marijuana.
Appearance of Daiquiri Lime Auto cannabis
The height of the mother plants varied from medium (140-175 cm) indoors to tall (150-250 cm) outdoors and in greenhouses. Good potential was found in a hydroponic environment. The overall sativa appearance and character (narrow leaves, elongated upward slender structure), bright tropical coloration are successfully combined with dense shoots and stems – this is how breeders successfully emphasized the small percentage of indica in the genotype. This is what distinguishes breeding in the age of high technology: even the influence of a small number of genes can be emphasized in such a way that the overall profile of the strain wins more points in competitions and cannabis cups!
With the onset of flowering, the plants grew noticeably taller, and the citrus aroma became noticeably sweeter. In the second half of flowering (from week 5), the buds transitioned from mass gain to ripening, and the aroma revealed pungent chemical notes, as well as a “wheeze” of Skunk. This strain cannot be called weak or even moderately fragrant – as for Sativa, the Dutch potion secreted a significant amount of resin, which successfully protected it from insect parasites. The resilient parent bushes also did not suffer from mold or other diseases.

You can, but the plant will not grow as large because the light regime will change and the growing season will be shorter.
