The exotic aroma of some sativa strains begs to be combined and mixed. For example, the powerful sativa with a rich chocolate aroma, Chocolope, was crossed by breeders with Tangie, a popular mandarin hybrid from California. The resulting Tangielope surprises with its twisted aroma profile: chocolate and sweet citrus form a unique combination.
We also managed to significantly reduce the life cycle. The genetics of Tangiloup are very vivid: Colombian and Mexican, Thai and Californian sativas meet here with Afghan and Indian indica.
During production, the mother plants demonstrated the outstanding vitality of this variety: deviations in temperature and moderate stress from other species were tolerated without any negative impact on productivity. The floral aroma was already apparent during vegetation, gaining sweet notes before the start of flowering, and by the middle of flowering, the aroma had acquired a distinct and luxurious color reminiscent of a chocolate-citrus cake.
Fungal diseases did not threaten Tanziloup, given its predominantly tropical origin. The flowering buds had a nice pyramidal shape and produced a moderate amount of resin, which was quite significant compared to many sativas.
