The Russian Bear hybrid is the benchmark for endurance and unpretentiousness, requiring almost no care and adapting even to the conditions of a nuclear winter. The genetics of this powerful beast reveal how it achieved its super resistance: it is a cross between White Russian (which in turn comes from the most resilient strains in history – White Widow and AK-47) and Black Domina, an Afghan indica.
The main theme of the aggressive Russian Bear strain is an earthy tone, but light citrus notes also come through. In addition to Afghan indica, Mexican, Brazilian, Colombian, and Thai sativas are also present in the pedigree.
Delicious Seeds breeders report that the plants from which these seeds were obtained have successfully adapted to indoor and outdoor conditions, as well as greenhouses and hotbeds. A significant proportion of Afghan Indica in the genotype allowed Russian Bear mother plants to withstand hot weather conditions without significant damage. In addition, the variety showed an excellent level of resin production – the large buds of Russian Bear are sticky like honeycombs.
The spreading structure of the plants allowed the yield to be increased by almost half through training! In open ground, Russian Bear mother plants ripened by the end of September – early October.
