The breeders at 4:20 used a carefully selected type of ruderalis to create their own autoflowering version of Girl Scout Cookies: the goal was to fully preserve the taste and aroma qualities, as well as to obtain the most productive and resinous hybrid possible. The resulting Auto Girl Scout Cookies strain from the Dutch seed bank was tested in southern Spain and in the suburbs of Amsterdam.
The mother plants developed actively and bore fruit abundantly both indoors and outdoors. The structure of the bushes and the shape of the inflorescences and leaves indicated that the hybrid corresponded to the authentic properties of the very same Girl Scout Cookies from the west coast of California: broad leaves and substantial resin production. Outdoors, the plants were ready for harvest by early September.
