The Dutch seed bank 4:20 Seeds has developed a new version of the well-known Amnesia Haze, which is predominantly indica. Nevertheless, the strain has distinct sativa characteristics, both in appearance and in its joyful effect.
Genetically, Amnesia Haze is descended from Afghan indica and Thai, Hawaiian, Mexican, and Colombian sativas. Thanks to the increase in “indica” content, the strain has become more productive and has significantly increased in resin content.
A series of tests conducted in 4:20 grow rooms and greenhouses in the suburbs of Amsterdam showed that Amnesia Haze fully corresponds to the main characteristics of this genotype in terms of leaf and inflorescence shape, as well as its tropical fruit aroma (authentic terpene profile).
The structure turned out to be somewhat more branched, which allowed breeders to harvest a much larger yield compared to the sativa-dominant phenotypes of Amnesia Haze. Strong aroma during flowering. Quite massive colas – sometimes the stems needed to be tied up. Outdoors, the plants were ready for harvest in early to mid-October.
